SailKote is available in 16 oz. spray cans, quarts, 1 gallon cans, and 5 gallon pails. When properly applied, SailKote will last an entire season under normal conditions.
Equipment Application Guidelines:
- Spray Application: spray on a thin, even coating—avoid drips and runs
- Wipe Application: use a soft, absorbent, cotton cloth or a small-cell sponge and apply in one even coat with gentle, even pressure in the streamline direction
- After the first coating is dry, apply a second coat to ensure complete coverage
- Mask off any areas that you do not want coated—SailKote is extremely slippery
- SailKote dries to a hard film in a matter of seconds—equipment can be used immediately thereafter
