The Puma Volvo Ocean Race (VOR) team performed their own test of HullKote. After 21 days in warm salt water, a carbon panel coated with HullKote showed only minimal marine growth that was easily wiped clean with a soft cloth. You won't see any bottom paint on this VOR Racer!

HullKote- So Easy It's Fun!

I applied Hullkote last weekend on my Capri 22. It sure was easy. A lot easier than regular marine wax. Actually, it was so easy, it was fun. The boat looks great!

The weekend before, I applied new vinyl graphics to the hull. They were kind of tacky feeling before I applied Hullkote. Now, they're as slippery as the rest of the hull.

Sailkote - What a Difference!

On our Star Boat, we always apply Sailkote directly into the mast track and boom track of our spars...then onto the bolt ropes on the luff and foot of the mainsail. We also apply it inside the jib zipper along the luff so it runs smoothly up and down the forestay on the downwind runs without bunching up. What a difference!
